The genesis of Transports Goëvia, a family-run SME with a European vocation
Transports Goëvia was founded in 2001 near Bordeaux. Initially set up by Joël and Eve Gonzalez, the company soon extended its scope to the Charente-Maritime department, with the creation of GLS Charente-Maritime in 2002. Two years later, the road haulage company joined the Évolutrans network. Through the Volupal and Volulots services, it guarantees delivery of pallets of goods and lengths in less than 48 hours anywhere in France, thanks to the network with which it works on a daily basis.
Transports Goëvia was acquired in 2015 by the second generation of the Gonzalez family, led by brothers Benjamin, Maxime and Victor.
The international dimension of Transports Goëvia is already present, and has been confirmed and deepened over the years. Today, the company works with a customer service team able to communicate in several languages, and perfectly qualified to handle the formalities and regulations of all shipments outside France, and sometimes even outside Europe with the UK.
