“20 years ago, my father and mother started this crazy adventure with only their energy, their ambition, and the trust of a single client.
On May 07, 2001, not many of them were planning this adventure far away. The adventure started with 7 GLS employees and only 1 customer… The confidence of our unique customer has multiplied and our company has capitalized on the industrialization of our business to expand its know-how and grow commercially. Through hard work, resilience and self-sacrifice, confidence in the social and business dimensions of GLS has gradually grown. GLS has grown from a small-scale transport company to a small and medium-sized transport company, and has extended its field of action from the Gironde to the Charente-Maritime.
In 2004, joining the Evolutrans group and the birth of the Volupal network gave our company a national dimension. In a company, there is only one boss… That’s the customer. If the ranks of GLS have grown in 2001 from 7 to nearly 200 employees today, it is thanks to the confidence of our customers and our daily commitment to keep our promise…
My parents passed on more than just a business to us in 2016. They have given us pride, confidence, and the responsibility to continue to grow together and to expand our commitment to our customers and employees.
In 2020, GLS becomes Goëvia and progressively asserts itself with ambition, innovation and professionalism in the face of the challenges imposed by the health crisis. Digitalization, commercial emancipation, energy conversion and training are the pillars of our strategy for the future.
It is therefore with great emotion about the path we have taken over the last 20 years and with great ambition for tomorrow that I wish each of you, whether you are employees, customers or partners, a happy anniversary.
